1st Quarter 2022 Investors Report

The outpouring of year-end giving was very generous. I wanted to thank you and give you a report on where your contributions are being used.

Disaster relief:

Part of our team just returned from our last scheduled trip to Lake Charles (Jan 8-15). We worked with Touching Lives Worldwide and Fuller Rebuilders, rebuilding homes still damaged from Hurricanes Delta and Laura in 2020.

Next week Jan 24th we have our first team going to Kentucky. We are working in Dawson Springs with “Christ in Action” mostly doing demolition and debris removal. We have meetings with Pastors set up in the area to meet and lay the foundation for a longer-term relationship there. We want to be able to help induvial families down there rebuild their lives. We will plan on a few construction trips in the spring, summer and fall and see how we can help in anyway the Lord leads.

FOOD;

We just purchased 90,000 meals of raw product for the food packing events. Food packings start on March 19th with a private packing party for “Lace em up for Libby” a small local organization that helps families effected by childhood cancer.

The first open packing is Sat April 9th. You can sign up for that on the website. www.kingdominvestors.net
Working with Urban Outreach in DC, we just found out that we can get over 100 pallets of free groceries and household goods free from Amazon. Some of you have offered warehouse space to help with this opportunity. We are receiving it the first week of February and will figure out how to distribute it in local disadvantaged communities. We might be calling for manpower 😊

Internationally we have funded the children’s feeding program in Calcutta India with Pastor Ivan for the month of January. They feed over 3,000 children a day in 4 poverty area schools for less than $8.00 per month per child. (I went there in 2019 and it was awesome). We always try to ensure the kids are fed this first month while they get their support in for the rest of the year.

Lastly the Children’s Feeding Center, we helped build in the Philippines with the Stines in 2004 was hit by a tornado in December. Its standing but needs lots of work. We have so far ensured the kids there are safe and will be fed (250 per day) but are looking at ways to help get the building put back together.
I guess that’s enough for now. I’m exhausted (but blessed) just thinking about it all. Please keep the projects in your prayers.

Remember to save the dates for golf. Tuesday June 7th at Renditions and Monday Oct 3rd at Holly Hills. Registration information for June should be out by March. Some people already have sent in registration money to hold teams so please register early so you don’t get shut out.

Thanks again for you trust and support.
Together we do make a difference.
Blessings, George
